Default TP problems

I noticed this problem and think its due to my test pipes. Even thought I did not have these problems few months ago. It might be the real cold weather too but heres my problem.

When Im driving say in 5th gear around 40mph and I decide to push the gas a bit, the rev goes up real quick and falls down like theres a power loss. Is that normal? its happening more frequent now. Feels like a slipping transmission if I were drivin an automatic. I know its the trans but something with the exhaust gases just have nowhere to go and rev comes down. Is this normal with test pipes?
