Default Worth the wait for AEM V2 CAI?

I'm really anxious to buy an intake for my car, but should I wait for the V2? anyone heard any good things about it... Also any ideas when its coming out?

From what I understand, there is no V2 coming out for the 350Z.

I sent AEM a few inquiries and they said what raceboy said.

They claim nothing is planned, which I figured they'd say -- because they want you to buy v1 and then once sales of the AEM v1 slow down enough, a v2 will pop up and they'll want you to buy that one too.

It wouldn't be a wise marketing strategy to release info on a upcoming intake that superior to the one that's currently available -- many would hold out for it. They'd rather sell you two.

By looking at the V2 on other cars it does not seem like it would fit very well in the Z too big!.

Some cars lose HP vs. the original AEM intake, just a thought.
