So I got bored and thought I would have some fun...
I got bored tonight and thought I would have a little fun with some "Customer Service". I'm sure most of you have read of the whole AFE Intake incident and if not please Refer Here so that you can have a clue what I'm talking about.
Well anyways I felt like having some fun so I got onto AutoPartsWarehosue.com's "Live Help" function and asked some questions. This probably won't be as fun to read as it was to write but who knows someone else may get the same kick out of it that I did.

OCZTrack: After confronting AFE and using a 3rd party Dynojet machine it was tested to find out that the AFE Intake makes a max hp gain of 4 hp and approximately 6ft-lbs of torque.
OCZTrack: Even AFE only claims that this intake will make 19 additional hp.
OCZTrack: You're claiming 250% more hp gains than even the manufacturer suggests.
OCZTrack: And over 1000% more gains than actually occur.
OCZTrack: I would imagine the BBB would be concerned over this obvious cause of false advertising.
OCZTrack: And I would like to request to be e-mailed when the situation is corrected and/or notified if these claims can be substantiated.Bob: We will check on that and update

By the way I think it is funny that as soon as I bring up the part # he immediately says "i think there is an error, we will check and update, blah blah blah". This tells me 1. he either doesn't give two ****s to even ask why the hp #'s are a problem cause there is not intent whatsoever to fix a thing, or #2 they already know how full of **** all their advertisements are and its normal practice.

UPDATE: Well in my original conversation with "Bob" he tells me to check back again in 1-2 weeks. I gave "Bob" the benefit of the doubt and gave him two weeks but to no suprise he let me down. I'm asking everyone that reads this to join the cause and hit up their live support function.
