I like it so far. Quite a bit louder than my Nismo was though. I don't have a clip. I am running the Vortech with Kinetix HFC.

click the link in my sig. You'll hear mostly engine sounds because the EvoTT is relatively quiet.

I have some clips of the car with the EvoTT on the dyno and leaving the lift with test pipes and without. Trying to get it into a format to post. Maybe tonight.

I wouldn't put the EvoTT on a NA vehicle. You will def have a loss of low end power.

Is the TT version street legal like the regular EVO2? If so it can't be louder than 95db.

My EVo2 on NA was deeper, but with a CAI was louder and sang much better than the stock intake.

Turbo cars are generally quieter anyway so those who have it on Turbo should think it's quieter. I think my car is quieter than it was NA.

The EvoTT is not legal (sound wise) like the Evo2.

If the Evo TT is for FI applications only, then why would the 07 owners be putting it on, when FI isn't yet out for the new 07 motor??

Also I read that it was a 10HP gain with the TT setup, and that's not FI.

Ok I am a bit confused?? I am looking in to the Evo TT set up for my 07 (when i get it) but i won't be going FI for quite some time. So are you guy's saying it will be a loss of power and possiably hurt my car if i go with the TT set up on a NA car???

Cheers

It was great watching the start of your new custom build! If I remember correctly, the Evo TT before/ after dynos on a stock '07 was -2,3 RWHP in the mid-range and +10,12 RWHP in the upper end. Test pipes yielded another +6 RWHP on top?

It looks like it's going to be awhile before I have the budget to go FI so, I'm going to go ahead with the HKS Hi-Power for now instead of the Evo TT. I'll swap to an FI ready exhaust like the Evo TT when I have the budget to go FI... Definitely having my work done at Forged when I have the denero! :-)

I am planning on going FI as soon as it is available. I am building the car with that in mind. The dynos show clearly that the TT lost 2-3hp in the mid range; however with the test pipes the car gained it back. It won't hurt your car.

Thanks for the info man.
Now I just want to hear what it sounds like . I don't think I am as ambitious as you are and will probably wait till after break in to do the exhaust. Plus that gives me a little more time to save for other things so it can all be done at once. What are your plans for suspention and other things since the motor stuff isn't out yet??

Cheers
