Default What is a better Plenum spacer? or would you rather buy a new plenum?

Hi i've been looking at Plenum spacers and an actual new plenum.

I've come down to these 2 plenums spacers and one new plenum

The two spacers are
AAM angled plenum which is shown here
http://www.intensepower.com/aamspaninpls.html

and the skunk2
http://www.intensepower.com/skinpl5vqsp3.html

and the actual plenum is from crawford performance
http://www.crawfordzcar.com/plenum.htm

If anyone has had any experience with these products i would really appreciate the input before i purchase one of them

From what i've observed here...

When it comes to a spacer, most people get the Motordyne spacer.
When it comes to an upper plenum, most people get the Crawford plenum. Crawford costs less than the APS plenum.
When choosing between a spacer or plenum, most get the spacer because it's cheaper and you can keep your strut tower bar.

I knew that but i was too lazy to type it. I figured majority of the buyers end up with the 5/16" one anyway.

Why not just buy it from CrawfordZ directly?

I really didn't want to go into it. But Crawford no longer makes them. They have a pre oder list that I'm on, but they want a least 15 people before they make anymore. I was like the fifth person to get on the list two weeks ago.

Thanks for the input so far, its looking more towards the motordyne thermal spacer. I know about the list for the crawford plenum. don't worry if your number 5 i'm on fort hood texas and there is an infux of Z's on this post i've been talking to a few people that are planning to change their plenum and i've also been talking to crawford directly so i may be getting a discounted group buy for military. The only reason i'm doing a spacer instead of a plenum is because i've talked it over with Jotech techs and they've found that a spacer is more effective for the price.

Crawford if in the future you go FI
motordyne 5/16th (best dyno results) and OEM strut. Under the pressure of FI I would not want a spacer for the chance of leak.

I preferred the upper plenum over the spacer. The Crawford was alot cheaper than the APS Tall Boy, and i figured the difference was negligible. It's a real shame they're not making anymore, i guess the sales slowed down too much?

I also have the AAM spacer and I love it. You also get to keep the factory strut bar!

I am FI, I'm running a vortech sc at 15Psi due to an upgraded pulley. But i've been talking with jotech and they still reccomend the Spacer over the actual plenum head. I thought about the chance of leakage as well but supposedly they've been holding up pretty good. How much are you selling your AAM angled spacer? and where are you located? I'm located at Fort Hood, tx

Welcome. No need for a poll. I think the vote is in on the plenum vs plenum spacer choice.
