i got the jwt flywheel because nissan replaced my 6 speed under warranty. i knew this was a perfect chance to upgrade because they installed flywheel and clutch for free. i was satisfied with the upgrade along with every other mod. test pipes was easy, just get under the car on bolt them on.

i would say i like the flywheel better. best bang for your buck = test pipes.

Yes they replaced the short block and it's still a POS. Seemed to be getting gradually better with the new block. However I think I lost about 1/2 quart in 300 miles!!! I'm not 100% sure I changed the ODO back on that 300 mile oh **** reading though, so I reset it and am again watching it like a hawk. Just before that, it used 1/2 quart in 1,200 miles, which is still twice a s much as I would like to see but I know Nissan won't do anything about 1/2 quart in 1,200 miles anyway. With any luck it really did use 1/2 quart in 300 miles and contnues to do so, then I will get a whole new motor.

Awesome sounding Z. Almost sounds like a corvette IMO. I really need to do exhaust as my next performance mod. That is if my oil doesn't keep falling below the full mark. 2100 miles and I had to add 2 full quarts.

Nevermind, I was able to watch it at home. So was it a big difference going from just a Nismo catback to Nismo w/ TP's??? Almost sounds like mine and I dont have TP's, just a Nismo catback.

i'm back to cats because a test pipe cracked. kinetix offered to repair/replace them. and yes, theres a big difference. my Z now sounds like a stock Z. i miss the TP's. my Z revs slower now too. believe me, if you hear it in person, there's a huge difference. TP's will make the same "sound", but much louder. think about it this way, you have a conversational voice, then you have yelling voice, it's your same voice yet louder. having TP's is like making your Nismo cat-back "yell."

if you check out my other vids, you will hear the nismo without TP's. i only made one vid with the TP's.

Your car sounds great.

I don't really like the sound of my car, it is loud as hell. Check mods in the sig.

Would you like to trade exhuast? :-)

Ok I get it. Sounds like that is exactly what I need. My Nismo has a really nice tone, but lacks a few decibles in my opinion. I was gonna get some Megan resonated TP's but then was advised to go with a better brand...like Kinetix. Thanks for the info though.
