Default deciding exhaust

hey guys. ive been looking on deciding a new exhaust for hoursss. cannot decide.

for those who use an hks ti exhaust on their car, can u guys post up a sound clip? ive heard a few, but some sound different. some sound ricey and some sound nice as hell.

or theres this exhaust i found:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXKgnwFa8Ak

but seems like he has a tough exhaust setup, couldnt find the parts he had on the setup.

BUT ANYWAYZ
do you think the HKS exhaust is a good choice? just lookin for good peice that keeps the VQ sound a bit.

EDIT: and im not looking for a poor made exhaust like the topspeed pro1

I won't answer your generalized questions, but this one I can answer

the HKS definitely has the look you're looking for. as for sound clips, I find that the HKS sounds much different in person.

go for the HKS you won't be disappointed.

Default My Advice

I went with the Fast Intentions "Intimidator" and love it!

I just put up a sound clip of it on my car.

i think it sounds awsome in the first vid but i think its only cuz the camera's so close.

but the second vid kindve sounds ricey... or maybe he wasnt revving it as hihg as the first video? idk, i want that exhuast tone! but its a hard decision just by the 2 videos cuz they sound different... i mean, ill be spending like, 1,500 bucks so i want an exhaust im gonna enjoy to hear u know?

here's a pic of AAM's dual...seems like the look is exactly what you want:

http://www.alteredatmosphere.com/mm5..._Code=350Z_EXH

I have their single 3" and love the sound:

are you looking to stay w/ dual, or goto a single? What other exhaust mods do you already have, and how loud/quite do you want it to be? One nice thing w/ AAM is that you can get a silencer for the mufflers...it can tone things down for normal daily driving, but gives you the option to take them off for track/AutoX/car meets...

OK - I will chime in with my tidbit. Like tywinter and gp78, I went with the Fast Intentions Intimidator and can not be any happier. It was tywinter's install thread that put me over after lurking, reading, looking.

The sound retains the essence of the VQ, just stronger and meaner without being too loud. These were the deciding factors for me. Open your Z up and she will roar though ... .
