Yes, I know this, but if the reflash sets everything in stone, it will only be optimum when conditions and elevation match where the car was tuned and you would be going away from optimum every time you drove into differing conditions or a significantly different elevation, right? Or will the optimized ECU still be able to accomodate those changes to keep itself optimized?

I could be mistaken, but I believe it should stay optimized even with changes to your surroundings.
