Is it any louder than stock??? I love the way the stock exhaust sounds, but it could be a little more louder...I like the nismo, but it's way overpriced and gives small gains

you tube is your friend:

btw-it sounds better under load and not just putting it on neutral and revving it. but it gives you an idea.

It's been awhile since I checked the numbers, but isn't Stillen one of the heavier exhausts? Wouldn't that offset some of the gains.

It's heavy as crap to me. But I doubt that. 6hp compared to like 12hp. I'd take the extra 6hp for a few more pounds.

Wow! Glad to here someone is happier with the Stillen TD vs the HKS. Both are great exhaust!!! However, like you, I wanted a more stock look vs the Ti burnt tips. What tips did you go with? I have the single wall tips. I'm also running mine with the 2.5" APS cat-deletes. It is LOUD but have gotten great reviews from other Z owners that have heard it outside and inside the cab of the car. Also had one Z owner follow me for about 5 miles just to ask what exhaust it was. Here are pictures of my exhaust: Stillen TD Single Tips.
Here is a video of me getting it dynoed after install:

And another quick clip of me & my buddy autocrossing after the install:

Thinking once I get my Twin Turbo kit is will mellow out the rasp and loudness.

so you could really tell that much of a difference from the different exhausts? i heard that basically to choose exhaust by the sound you like because the gains really arnt that noticable (stillen says 16 hp which seems unbelievable?)...im stuck between choosing nismo and stillenm...how much hp does nismo claim?

not sure about the hks, but i know stillen is like 15-20lbs heavier, and i'd expect the same from hks...maybe even more because of the resonators above the canisters.
