In Z forum, I know many people did some modifications on their new Z. So do I! My big question is when I install the CAI or Exhaust system(except for Turbo or supercharger) am I avoiding the warranty? I'm pretty mad this situation because I did my mod to have better Z, not to make worse. You know...damn dealers!!


Anyone has facts?

 

Your warranty is only voided for the particular area that gets changed......an intake will void your warranty for a "check engine" light.....cutting out the pre-resonator will void the warranty for the exhaust system.....etc.....this was told to me by a Nissan Service Manager
