hey guys I have a problem. The rear section of the tip of my muffler is hitting this black box that is behind the passenger side rear bumper. Its this black metal box that I have no clue what it is but its hitting and I can hear it. Does anyone know how I can fix this stupid little problem? It rings and its bugging me. Thanks for any help that can be given.

I think its the charcol box for the gas tank...I can't take it out or w/e so can I just bend the bracket a little bit so it doesn't make that sound anymore? or is it that the hangers are put in wrong because I don't think we did the hangers wrong we checked twice and three times after we finished so =/. I would be greatful for any help that can be given. Thanks.

needless to say, i was harassed, especially since we live in OC. i ended up selling it and buying a fujitsubo, same design, just quieter.
I didn't find the exhaust loud at all, only at high revs. What other breathing mods did you get?
As for the metal box, what my shop did was just unbolt it before they installed it. It seems to be a shield of some sort for some wiring, but i'm not overly concerned about it.
edit, does your exhaust hang lower on the driver side than the passenger side? I only have a mm's on the passenger side and about 10mm on the driver side.

haha cause I feel stupid asking all these questions thats why I put XD.
yea the only other mods I have is a pop charger. I just keep it low revs when I see a cop so i don't think it will be too much of a problem.

yea its a emissions control item. Its suppose to neutralize the fuel vapors or something like that.
Anyways I saw the bolts that holds the bracket in today so I will have to go back to school on Monday and take it out. =) Should have done it before but I was too tired from school and installing the exhaust system that I didn't think it would ring but it did.

I love it very much. The tone is really really deep. I dunno why but I feel like its really loud. when I am driving I hear the tone from the inside and it sounds like it might be really loud outside I don't rev it over 2.5RPM cause one more ticket and I am kind of screwed.

speeding tickets all of them o.0 and I also got my picture taken at a cross street cause I went through it when it was yellow or w/e =/. I tested it out w/ my friends and they said that outside it wasn't too loud so I am not too worried anymore.
