Converting 1985 injen CAI to SRi

i think this is a pretty good idea apparently to some of the posts by some members who track here(alberto, audible)
just a question, is there a difference with the 1985 and 1986 INJEN CAI's when theyre converted to SRi power wise? is the difference in these models just in the CAI form? if there is a difference even in SRi form, is it quite significant?
im planning to pick a plenum spacer soon and i guess it wouldnt be a good idea leaving it in CAI form due to turbulance...well from what i read anyways

Also forgot to mention one downside to converting the intake to SR is that there is no heat shield to go around it therefor it will be sucking in a lot of hot air from the engine compartment which would defeat the purpose of a CAI.
