Such a shady situation......sorry you got taken advantage of. This type of things just causes the end consumer to be suspicious of all shops when they don't need to be.

By the way I am glad you got this resolved and the new exhaust looks great!
last i heard GTM is a reputable shop that does excelent work. im sure some of us have no problem paying top dollar to have things done right the first time and to prevent situations like what Skyler went through. you comparing GTM to VRT is a slap in the face to GTM. has GTM ever done something like this to anyone? have they done something to you for you to drag them through chit alongside VRT?

that original exhaust is the worst POS i've ever seen, i can sign language instructions to a mentally retarded kid and end up with a better exhaust. it looks like they used used pipes too, whats with all of the bars welded to the pipe... is it there for chits and giggles or maybe they just welded the hanger to the wrong pipe. hmm, maybe it was done by an old grandma.... it wouldn't suprise me if someone that would rob and con customers would slave drive their grandma to fab up an exhaust and threaten to cut her O2 tube. wouldn't shock me neither if this kind of person would give head to little fanboys around town, and the fanboys would in turn defend them online and be btch *** little cheerleaders to lure more unsuspecting customers... sorry, ignore me.... chiefed a little too hard

This thread was not posted as a bash to VRT, it was simply a follow up to the last thread because I had no pictures. I was just posting this to show the work I wasn't happy with, and the new work that I am very happy with.

MrA, thanks for the nice work, I love the car.

To everyone else, this has been resolved to a point that I am happy with, I harbor no hard feelings towards MrA or VRT, so enough of the bashing. I just wanted to post the pics of my work like I promised I would in the last thread.
Glad things worked out in the end. Its sad you had to put this all on the forums to get them to make things right.

Question tho...do you trust VRT enough to go back?

Im glad everything finally worked out for your skylar! It is sad that everyone is bashing VRT - I had a wonderful experience myself, Mike and Scott (now with RA) were excellent to us! again, glad everything is worked out!

Hey its in the past. It was definitely a learning experience and I will be much more careful and do my research from now on. I think I am a good example of what people should NOT do when modding cars. Don't just jump into something, do your research and know what you are getting into.

it listed a TUNE as one of the things you got done from VRT. what type of ECU are you running? if nothing, how did he tune your car? open ECU?

Sorry im late on my response. But as far as I know there was no tune. My ECU is still stock as far as I know. I have no idea if they did a tune or anything at all to my ECU.
