Custom Nissan air duct
Well some of you know I have the power lab turbo kit on my car and the intake is moved to the center right behind the bumper cover. The kit has a 4" core and maintains all the bumper core components and blocks some of the fresh air source. I wanted to open a path of fresh air to it but I didn't want to put duct in the bumper so here is my solution... let me know what u think.

The filter is small as it is a temp filter. I have a much longer one in there now.

wow, that is something i have never seen before. props for originality and going for it. i kind of like the idea, just need to make sure your shaves and cuts are clean and finished looking. Great job!~

Thanks for all the compliments... necessity is the mother of invention.
I live in Phoenix where it hardly ever rains and I don't drive the car in the rain. I think I drove in it once since I've had the car.

novel idea. but i suspect you're probably sucking in more air from the original bumper opening than you are from the hole behind the hamburger. the way the nose is curved and the way the emblem is shaped, i suspect you'll get little airflow to your filter that method. i'd honestly just gut the nose and put a giant duct like the Option Z did.

That would be true w/o the intercooler but it's huge so it does add restriction. When I did the "mod" I was doing more to try it (i'm gonna get a new bumper) than to gain anything significant... to my surprise when I did a back to back test my intake temps dropped 2 degrees C.
FWIW

nice job
