MD 5/16 spacer > popcharger or CAI. I think Tony can vouch for that!!! And who said the stock air box isn't as efficient as a CAI or popcharger? Its been proven already and discussed several times that the 06+ airbox w/ K & N drop in filter is just as efficient as a CAI, I know there were a couple of posts that I read that had dyno #'s.

this is a statement Jeremy of Performance Factory made on here recently..."we then did some crazy things, we tried out a Injen cold air, it lost 8 hp, we tried attaching the maf right to the TB, lost 15 hp, tried doing all kinds of crazy things and the stock air box still makes more power than anything we did."

I'm having clearance problems even WITH the spacers installed.
Your strut bar may be shifted too far to the left or right.

Try loosening the tension on the bar and then loosen the bracket bolts. Shift the bar to the left or right, tighten the bracket bolts back down and then crank the bar tension back up.

This is usually the cause in a situation like yours. The bar is off set...

Is your strut bar like right on the intake now?
I am tempted to do one, but I cannot see how the strutbar will clear. I have an 07 and it is dead on there.
Dont even know if they fit the 07's yet but deff interested.

They won't fit your engine unfortunatly. You have a completely different designed engine.

I'm working on a mod for the HR, but it will be a while.

I think Ill try the 1/2 spacer and order a jwt strut bar? How much of a HP gain is it, when comparing 5/16 and the 1/2 spacer?

Check out the dyno plots on the MD website. It goes into great detail on the power curves.
