ive searched and didnt find much info on this but i was wondering what exhausts were bad for NA Z's i read the one post about 3 inch TD being bad for NA,

I either want to get greddy Evo 2, BORLA, Tanabe Concept G, RSR,

which one of these is bests for NA, the EVO 2 is my number 1 choice so far and are any of these bad for NA

They're all quite good. The distinguising factors you need to consider are:
Looks
Brand name
Dual vs Single
Value
Weight
Sound

There are no aftermarket exhausts which are considered Bad for NA but Good for FI. You're safe if you buy brand name like you described.
Custom exhausts - you're in unexplored territory and could lose torque/hp.

edit:
Actually, there is some interesting stuff i just read about back pressure / scavengine / free flowing characteristics in NA exhausts. for example in the <ahem> Volvo forum post 12 is interesting reading
http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=8394

futher edit:
my god they are a mature forum haha

Sport Z Magazine did a comparison test several years ago. You might try searching for that here on the forum or check out Nissan Sport's website to see if they have it archived there.

Personally I have a Borla dual exhaust. Nismo, Stillen and Injen also make exhuasts for the Z that have gotten good reviews.

I recommend that you:

a. Set a budget.
b. Decide what configuration is best for you. Single. Dual. One or two mufflers.
c. Listen before buying.

I was in the same situation as you're in now a few months. I had pretty much the same budget and wanted the best results with my new exhaust. I decided to go with the RSR. It sounds great and looks great. It's also an easy bolt on. Before you decide which exhuast to buy i would check out the sound clips for them.

Just a quick question will you loose low end torque when changing to an aftermarket exhaust? I've been told that you gain high end power but your low end will suffer

Exhaust mods (headers, test pipes, cat-back exhaust) will alter the horsepower and torque curves. Predicting the exact effects is a guess at best.

^ So in all realities this is what a "TUNE" will correct? Putting a ratio of the fuel and oxygen to make it perform back to normal and correct the imbalances through the power band??

Correct.

A tuner with a dyno can tweak the ECU for better performance. That's why a session with a knowledgeable tuner will cost about $900.

The Borla does sound sweet. Even more so when you add headers.

If you're staying NA, get a single pipe exhaust like the Nismo or Borla single. Duals are absolutely unnecessary and add weight. I have the Borla TD because I'll eventually have some sort of FI or an LS2 swap.

I say get the Nismo, great part, and perfect fit. I had one along time ago and loved it.
