I was wondering if anyone on the forums had this exhaust on their Z and if you do could you tell me more about this exhaust =] I was browsing youtube for 350z exhaust videos and came across this http://youtube.com/watch?v=k-fFAUJtjHo and i just loved that sound, lol. the only problem is..the exhaust is actually pretty loud but youtube is also...ehh with sound quality if you know what i mean. I was wondering if this exhaust is actually that loud...and how the looks are (does it look completely not stock that the cops will pull you over for). My last question is will this fit on an 07 350z thanks

 

That's what the RSR is known for...being loud as sh*t. Definitely pull-me-over loud.

I was hoping that they weren't going to be that loud I was just worried about the look because I really didn't feel like getting this if its going to cost me tickets..I was also thinking about getting the X02 but isn't that exhaust also loud?

I have this exhaust. It is pretty loud.. but it sounds really nice...
In California, the cops dont even look at me when I passed by.. (maybe I drive defensively when I see them)
As for those who say you will get a ticket, doid that actually happen to you before?
I drove on it for 2 years already, no ticket. Knock on wood...

And definitely it will fit on your 2007.. it will stick out a little bit. but no cops pay attention to it..

 

wow thats good to hear. I was just worried about the tickets because my friend that drives an STI has a HKS exhaust and hes been pulled over atleast 4 times and this exhaust looks a lot bigger then the HKS one. He also had 4% window tints maybe that was the reason lol. I would love to have this exhaust it was just that I didn't want it to come with cops chasing my *** =[ because I love the sound of it, I love the look, and the price is actually reasonable.
how was the power gains if there was any at all also how is the sound of the exhaust in low RPMs? I usually shift at 2k when I see cops and I was just wondering if it made a lot of noise at those RPMs lol.

 

I actually dont really know.. since I bought my Z used.. its already on there.. I really enjoy everytime when I rev it high, or WOT. It just sounds amazing
But now, I need to get a more quiet exhaust because im going to drive my Z 2+ hours everyday in traffic starting this week..
I actually has the same color and model as your car, but urs is newer
When I see the cops, i usually keep it around 2000rpm.. or even clutch in let the car roll...
Just dont do crazy things, and cops wont bother you.. yea.. cops like to pull over because of dark window tint...

 

oh i c lol. Well I pretty much want this exhaust but I'm still thinking at the moment. If you really decide to get rid of that exhaust let me know =] if not I think I will order one for myself hehe.

i used to live in Va Beach and i used to have this exhaust. it's really loud but, in a nice way, i get complements all the time. i got pulled over once and the police asked me if it was a dealership installed and i told him no and, i'm in the process of replacing it with an stock exhaust so, he just gave me a warning. but, i think he stopped me because i had a smoked license plate cover.when i see police around me, i just put it on higher gear and you'll be fine

 

my brother has rsr's on his g35 and they are LOUD. but a really nice loud not ricey at all. If you do get them i predict you will have the silencer's in 90% of the time since it's so loud even in the cabin. But the funny thing is that even with the silencer's in it's louder than stock, just doesn't look as nice. :/

Sounds just like the less expensive DNX system I have. Yes it is loud!

Yea.. for the first week I got my car, I feel like Im in an airplane.. lol, its kinda weird. And sometimes my ears feels weird after I sit on my car a while and get out. But Im used to it already..

I have this exhaust as well. It is loud, but not as loud as people make it out to be. For a Z its loud though. Everyone I know likes the sound a lot. I would get it again. Cops may pull you over for it though (happened to me once). It just depends if the cop is cool or a dickface (like in my situation). GL w/ it.

 

I have this exhaust on G35Cpe...
It's very loud w/o the sliencer but if you keep the sliencer on it shouldn't be a problem.
Plus it really show some nice gain.
