Default Plenum spacer problems

We'll I've had my plenum spacer on for about 5 days and everything was going pretty good for a while..the throttle response felt a little different and all but yeah. Today, im taking my car out and just cruising around for a minute everything is normal...then as I start to go uphill on this bridge the car just stopped..the engine was still running but as I was giving it gas it wouldnt go or rev or anything, it just sat there. The engine was running cold so i turned it off and sat for a minute, turned it back on and it slowly started going back to normal. The drive home it felt a little weird and not right..just wondering if this problem has to do with the spacer I had installed. Thanks

what do you mean by slowly started going back to normal? like you'd be wot and it would still be sluggish? or it would intermittently keep doing it off and on until it stopped completely?

Sounds like you didnt reset you throttle body after you pluged it back in. There is a special re learn sequence that you have to use to relearn the throttle body.

Can the standard "unplug battery for a few hours" reset work?

It sounds like your car went into safe mode.
The spacer by itself won't cause this but is more likely to be related to the installation process. There may be a harness not plugged in or a hose not connected.

What is odd is that it happened 5 days later. ...Suggesting it may be something completely unrelated.

Did you get a cel? If yes, try to get a scanner to find out what the code is.

Didn't reset my TB or anything. No problems, at all here. Even the battery was left on. Almost a month now since the install.

Where in NC are you? I am in Raleigh and will be in town all of the holidays if you want some troubleshooting help.
