Nismo CAI...how does the diverter work?

Can somone show me a pic of where the diverter is and how it works? I searched for this and just see people talking about it, but which peice is actually the diverter? and how does it actually work?

Have you tried google.com or AEM or another company that makes CAIs? I seem to remember a diagram of the diverter on one of those sites.
