Default San Diego CAI owners, careful with the rain today

Its been raining sideways today. On my way home my car was bucking when I floored it, I figured it was the VDC. Turning that off didn't help. When I parked in my garage the area under my NISMO CAI filter let out a ton of water. I didn't drive through any standing water today and was amazed how much water came out of that area.

So I pulled the intake pipe and maf, lots of water in the tube. I cleaned the MAF and blew it out with compressed air and put in the air divertor valve that comes with the NISMO kit on.

Just a warning, I didn't think it could happen in a heavy rain storm, but it did.

That valve comes with the kit for a reason.... I suggest leaving it in year round, not just throwing it on when it is going to rain.
