I love the sound of the Borla, but I think it could be a little louder, but don't want rasp...Can some of you guys that have removed them, post and let me know how much louder it is without them??? I thought about having it done and if it's to loud, have a X pipe put in...Opinions welcome There was little info in this thread, but that's all I could turn up

 

Why not do something that will actually improve performance at the same time? Get some high-flow cats first. I have headers and hfc with borla and the volume is just right without being obnoxious.

 

Well if you are planning to add more to your exhaust. I would not touch them. If not, then it will amplify sound by a good amount. Just something to think about. Why not add something that will add performance. I am trying to get some time to record some fly-bys of my setup.

 

Well, I thought about getting HFC's or TP's, but there are no tuning options for the HR yet...I like the way your setup sounds meaj82, just don't want TP's without being able to tune and the CEL would get on my nerves

I have no CEL and no tune it runs great. I know the there are some HRs running without a tune and no CEL as well. Just get some non-foulers.
