Default Trip down 95 causes major problems

East coasters and others interested

So headed to flordia for the past weekend to see my Virginia Tech Hokies play in the Acc Championship, strait shor from Richmond Va, to Jacksonville down I95. I was planning on trying to get my car tuned in fl due to lack of shops in my area, as well as the game.

Didnt make it half way into North Carolina when somewhere(still not sure where) my car bottoms out hitting the crossmember attached to the stock Cats (Brand New Turbo XS test pipes In my case). The impact ripped the bracket right out of the passengers pipe, leaving quater sized hole and cracked the drivers side bad. So out new test pipes, kinda bummed. i am lowered with tein s spec on stock rims (Not outragous)

Here in lies my pre-question background. First, these test pipes, when not broken, made my Z sound like a fart can on a civic from inside the car.(strange, but hearing the car outside, sounds beefy as hell, have lots of vids if you want) I would just put on stock cats again, but the weight loss due to test pipes is a major aspect in my mind, not just a hp/tq gain. I am running dc sports stainless steel headers with a nismo exhaust (biggest waste of money yet)

What test pipes out of personal expirience would be good for this set up? Also taking in to consideration the brackets that were broken.

Thanks guys and screw 95, u suck

My topspeeds sounded fine with my borla exhaust and have gone with no problems, even with bottoming out, for comin' up on 10,000 miles. There is ALWAYS rasp with test pipes though.

Hilton Head Island is right off of I-95, and that road is a mess, especially down near Florida, because there is ALWAYS construction down there.

1) Fast Intentions Res TP
2) Kinetix Res TP
3) UTR Res TP

All are resonated. All are in the $380 range. All have life time warranties.

or since you're fresh out that money, go onto good ol' ebay and look for them, i got some resonated test pipes made by megan racing for cheap... and they eliminate that brackets need. I've bottomed out a few times with them and no problems yet.
