You are not going to feel huge gains, but you will pick up some sound. I went with the HFC, because its cheaper than a new exhaust right now. They need to be replaced anyways, I would replace them first than go from there. I am going to change the ypipe out in the next few months too. Just like the way the stock exhaust sounds.

HFC are a waste of money.

Get test pipes.

I think they are the Metallic ones, you might feel alittle. But, the bottom line is you will have to replaced them anyones. They are only $350, try them. Then go from there.

why do you have to replace them? Did they blow? Are you going FI? Or are you needing that extra 2 hp provided by Test Pipes??

he meant you have to replace them (stock cats) anyway with either HFC or test pipes (whichever one you decided), so go for em and you can replace the y-pipe and muffler later.

thanks for the help guys

Just trying to get an idea so i won't get these and feel no power difference and barely any sound change (dont mind sound, cause that'll come with the catback).

WTX - did you feel any power diff with the HFCs?
yes, topend opened up a little bit....needs more, but doesn't it always? There is Definitely a sound difference.

IMO, test pipes with the stock exhaust sounds ten-times better. The sound clip above seems to make the car sound different.

sorry no sound clips.. but it's all good. there is HUGE difference between stock catback and HKS after 3000rpm. different animal.. HKS has way more kranky sound up top like growling V6 and I like that.
