Default plenum spacer...

if i bought the 1/2'' iso thermal plenum spacer, would i seriously need to buy a different strut bar? i know it says it doesn't fit the stock one, but i was wondering if anybody has done it with out removing the stock strut bar and replacing it with a larger one. I heard it can be done if removing the engine cover.

thanks for the info.

Jake

From what I heard you can add some washers to raise the level of the bar. Just don't go crazy or it will hit your hood.

It has been done. This is due to car to car tolerance variation.

Its unlikely to fit but it won't hurt to try.

I'm doing mine with the SVRT solid mount to lower the engine 1/4in so no washers added for the strut bar.
