All the videos I've heard give the the car a meaner sound. Maybe your other bolt-ons are drowning out the noise? I won't receive mine until Saturday or Monday, so I I'll update once I get it installed.

Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong...
But isn't it just the throttlebody that is "whistling"? You can hear this same sound with the stock intake. It's just more audible with a larger filter, as well as not being enclosed in a box.
