Default Tony Motordyne get in here

I would like to say never have I received customer service as the one I received from Tony@motordyne(Hydrazine).

I just recently had my plenum powder coated a dark metallic Grey.

I was one of the few who had the first batch of MREV+ and 5/16th for the Rev-up motors back in 05.
Back then Tony was shipping out his products with Silver colored hardware kit.
I have done quite a few installs of Tony's products for local enthusiasts and started noticing that Tony has been shipping black hardware kit.

I contacted Tony and told him about my project and situation.
He sent a Black Hardware kit through Fed-Ex in no time.
No matter what people say you #1 in customer service in my book

Thanks again Tony

Oh and Tony I tried the 5/16th spacer with the stock Rev-Up lower plenum and I didn't like it at all.
I know a few Rev-Ups that are only running the 5/16th and say they feel a difference but that is only cause they haven't the difference between stock plenum and the MREV+(MREV2 older brother)

Here are some pics of the product:

So on the revup 5/16 is not the one to get but for an 04, 5/16 should show some decent gains?

On the REVUP engine, do both. If you can only do one, start with the MREV2, you can always add the spacer later for additional top end gains.

Tony, what would happen if we added the Mrev2 on an 03 motor with cams and head work?

I don't know about the heads and cam work interaction but, by itself, on a 03 engine, the MREV2 will perform very similarly to the spacer but with a little more TQ.

Area under the curve is slightly greater than the 5/16" spacer.

Thanks for the reply. I was wanting to know about the 04 Non rev up though. Is there really any big difference between the ISO 5/16 and the regular?

as far as hp it is debatable, but the plenum stays substantially cooler than the spacer with out the iso package. After an hour of driving you can pop the hood and lay your hand on the plenum with no problems. If you try that now without the iso kit you'll have BBQ hand for dinner

That does go a long ways when your looking for someone that gives excellent customer service.

I know my next mod will be the spacer, looks like MD is the one to go with.

No, its not a big difference. Its 1-2 more HP.

A 1-2 HP gain is about a 10-15% addition of gain made by the spacer. So the Iso Thermal price/performance ratio is a linear entension of the basic spacer. Its value, of course, is up to you.

One other thing that is helpful about it is the reduced air intake temperatures. If your engine becomes heat soaked to the point where the plenum becomes burning hot, the cooler plenum assembly and air intake temperature will help reduce the tendancy for ping.

Its not a big difference, but I'll certaintly keep it on my Z.
