Default Crawford High-Flow Cats - Near Production Ready

Crawford High-Flow Cats - Near Production Ready.

Updated photos now available online via the R&D section of the site.

Sure you can run test-pipes... but do you want to have to crawl under your car once a year just for the sniffer test and visual inspection? Most likely you're not one of the lucky ones who lives out in the country and finds themselves fortunate to be exempt. We know we aren't!

Here's the BEST solution!

... oh, how do they feel?

from a 70 mph roll to 130 mph 3 car lengths were easily put on an `02-`03 Mustang GT running from what I could tell a catback.

Yeah they feel great!

How much are they going to be? Do you have proven dyno sheets? When is the expected release?

To be honest, I'm happy with my test pipes and I know they will perform better, but as you say it's not always going to be fun to switch back and forth if the need arises. Thanks.

Exactly!

It's common knowledge to know that a "lesser restrictive" pipe will flow better! Test-pipes ROCK for exempt cars or track-only... but for daily drivers... ICK.

Any estimates on the power gain and cost?? It would have been easier to know what the mod would do against a stock 350Z, not a mustang. But I am real interested in the mod, more info!!!!!!!

Though with only a 50mph window to run him in... you won't put 3 cars on him!

DO NOTE thou... this is with the plenum & cats. NICE combo!

I removed them off Evils car last night to adjust for a slight rattle. This first set just touched the car barely, therefore Doug had to make slight adjustments to the jig. Once Doug thinks the jig is ready another set will be made off jig and then test fitted. We may dyno at the end of the week . . . dont know for sure.

Just when I thought there's no more upgrades to be done on our exhaust, here comes the hi-flow cats.. Is this never ending??

Just kidding.. They look great! I wouldn't mind getting a pair of these.. if the price is right..

Good job..

From what I have heard, it seems that these high flow cats don't make much power for an N/A stock car. But they do perform better with upgrades in other exhaust pieces and FI. For the amount of money that they cost, I am just having a hard time figuring out if they are really worth it. I am probably not alone, and it would be worth it for one of you guys selling it to explain how they are worth the purchase cost.

I mean, 3-5 HP ain't nothing to do flips over for that price.

You are right its about building off each other. I would not spend $500+ for 3-5 hp unless there was other good reasons. One of which is a noticeable weight reduction between the 4 pieces. Also I know I freed up the intake side so now I can un-cork the exhaust side some more. I think (not at all for sure) but Doug’s will be some where in the $400 neighborhood. Running the numbers in my head on parts and time that is a great price, so he may charge more.
