If a throttle body change of calibration is causing the butterfly valve to not fully open, it can certainly cause it.

Note: The throttle body reset procedure can be a little tricky to do if you don't get the timing just right. Use a stop watch to help the precision of your timing.

The procedure is kind of like stomping morse code into your accelerator pedal.
not only tricky but the waiting time intervals on the instructions are skewed. Add a solid 2-3seconds onto each "wait 5 seconds" "wait 7 seconds" Because once you do the final hold for "10 or more seconds" its closer to 30seconds before the light starts flashing.

The pedal reset in the installation manual is straight out of the Nissan service manual, but what ever it takes to make it work.

It may be silly but check the oil filler tubes rubber cone thingy, it may have gotten caught under the spacer and you could have a leak under it, plus you wouldn't hear it as easily...I know I had it...lol

Hey guys I am starting to wonder my car's problem might be from something other than the spacer! There is a tremendous "Engine Drag" from low Rpm, especially below 2000rpm. It can't be normal, because 3000rpm has a lower drag feeling than 2000rpm, it's just impossible to be right. Could it be the transmission?

The shop that did your installation... Are they reputable?
Take it to them or the dealer and ask what the problem may be.

Its hard to diagnose the problem without actually seeing/hearing/feeling what it may be.

Breaking news guys, I bought it back to the shop ( yes they are reputable), the manager test drove it, and said it feels as if the car is in cold idle. I was kind of in a rush, and he opened the coolant control valve to see if it gets better. I drove away afterwards and feel there is some improvement (the feeling of engine drag has reduced) . Can anyone tell me why?
Thanks alot

that couldn't have made any difference, I'm starting to think this is your imagination. If you really want to know what's going on with your car's power curves, drag race or dyno

reading through this thread I was thinking the same thing wired said on first page... it sounds like the spacer leaned you out - which is good, means its working, but will pull timing... you need a tune to adjust a/f.

OP, your symptoms are very similar to what happened to me when I installed HFC... after added fuel to get a/f ratio proper, I got a bunch of trq!

In most cases a tune isn’t necessary after a spacer, but you might have been a little lean to begin with...

at the time I had Technosquare flash - I don’t remember what the a/f was but it was pretty lean... the car was a slug across the entire rmp... at fwy speeds it would take about 10-15 seconds to go from 70-75 - it was real bad.

TS added fuel and got a/f close to 13... from then I felt much more trq and there was notable added power (for the butt-dyno Jay Leno's out there - without a doubt it added power)... I didn’t do before and after dyno, but dropped nearly .2 sec on 1/8 mile and .1+ on 60’ – and like I said it was undeniably felt.

Now I have Osiris - entirely different tune, I wont go into everything, but its good... my dyno tune is out here somewhere, you can find it on a search…

You should get s dyno with a/f ratio and see what its doing.

both... its basically tuning... I had TS off-the-shelf flash based on original mods - then Tadashi richened up the a/f by driving a few spirited runs and just tweaking a bit...

The Osiris is a dyno tune - but they have email off-the-shelf flashes... they also custom tailor to your mods...

Theres a bunch of info about all this in various threads - but I'm sure you know that...
