Default Installed TurboXS exhaust on my G35

On friday I had my TurboXS y-pipe & cat back installed (I had to get the midpipe extended a few inches & I also opted to get the tips extended so they are flush with the bumper). Here are my impressions:

1) Sound

First off this is very, very loud (but in a good way). Its a couple of octaves louder than my old Invidia G200 and noticeably louder than a Nismo at idle. Its also kinda raspy at low rpm's but sounds very deep and awesome at WOT (sounds more like a Ferrari V12 than a VQ35). When I went to the track yesterday and got a lot of positive comments (e.g.: that sounds awesome, that sounds sick dude, that is the nastiest sounding G35 I ever heard) and thumbups. Its noticably louder under cruise, most likely b/c of the testpipes, but it sounds very, very deep. You will get a lot of WTF looks and a lot of people tailing you to hear the sound.

2) Power

The motor sounds smoother at low revs and the car revs faster throughout the rev range. The power increase is very noticeable. I gained a lot of low end torque back

For $500 it could not be beat

Here is a video comparing the Invidia G200 to the TurboXS

LOL. HFC's are worthwhile if you cant tolerate excessive noise (this is really ******* loud @ idle and @ WOT).

I was able to pass emissions this saturday with the testpipes & the loping idle .
