I just did today. I got curious. I wanted a little more sound and I think I may have made a mistake. I got the guy to take the resonator off and replace it with straight stainless. I also have the AAM TPs and Y Pipe. Its sounds really nice at idol and with little rev bumps but once you crack the 3k mark it is a screaming buzz all the way to redline. High pitched. I wouldn't say it is horrible but not what I expected. I should of done a little more research but I was curious.

So now I am thinking that I need to put the resonator back on but I don't want it to be as quiet as stock but obviously can't have nothing there so I am thinking a magna flow resonator...not sure what size.

I think i am going to drive it for the weekend. Have a couple of friends give me a fly by in it and then make a decision on Monday as to what I am going to do.

you can buy after market smaller resonators that will get you were you want to be. Sound and performance. I saved my borla resonators just because I might need them for another application.
