Default My Borla True Dual Exhaust Installed

I like it so far, got it installed yesterday - for $70 bucks and they did a great job. PM me if you're in so cal and looking for an install shop, and/or a place to buy the Borla.

Was wondering if anyone who has had the Borla for a while has noticed if it has gotten louder as it gets broken in. I could use just a little more noise from it, but overall I am happy with it.

No offense but are people really that afraid to install their own parts? I know $70 isn't a lot of money but it's an exhaust. 6 clamps, some bolts and you're done and you did something to your own car. The only time I ever bring my car to someone is if it's something that requires welding, or tools that i can't get my hands on.

Yes they could be afraid to do something they are uncomfortable doing but to generalize like that is offensive. There could be a lot of reasons why people pay others to do the work: don't have the equipment, proper work place, tools, don't like to get dirty, aren't good with their hands, don't know much about cars, have money to pay others, etc.

Not everybody is a mechanic. I like to do what I can for the gratification (all the mods listed) but when I feel it's beyond my means yea I'll pay somebody.

I paid $70 because to install it because #1 I don't have a lift - who does? and #2 I have plenty of $ and I'd rather pay $70 than do it myself. #3 I dont want to deal with throwing away stock parts. Its the same reason I pay $ for oil changes - not because I'm lazy, just because its easier - dont have to deal with disposing used oil etc...

I got my installed last Friday and Love it. I can feel a little difference in the car, but the sound is just great.

Smile I hope it gets a little louder.

I had my Borla exhaust installed today and it sounds great; it's a bit subdued though -- inside the car. There's definitely more power, especially in the midrange. I'm pulling away more quickly from the other cars in traffic. Does it feel like 24hp? I would say not quite, but the power increase does seem quite significant.
I'll post my dyno results after the next "dyno day" in Dallas.
