Default Gaskets?

Stupid question, but if I remove my HFC's to inspect them for damage, is it all right to re-use the gaskets or will they fall apart the second I take them off? Thanks for any knowledge

well, you wont be able to tell untill you take them off unfortunately. If they are the stock metal gaskets then i would say it is likely you will be able to reuse them. If the stock gaskets were replaced with paper gaskets then it is likely that the gasket paper will stick to one side of the cat or the other and seperate (fail) when pulling things apart. Good luck with things, it can go either way.

that's what I'm afraid of because the stock metal gaskets look pretty fried.
