Default Question about going with a custom exhaust or premade

i just got my Z and i was thinking of putting an exhaust on it, my question is does it make a diffrence in sound and preformance if i buy the cans and get straight piping or should i buy the real thing the cans i was thinking of buying are the HKS Carbon-Ti Universal Muffler or if i were to buy the real thing i would get a Greddy Evo 2

Your post is kinda hard to read but from what I can tell your asking the difference between going custom or buying a catback?

Almost every exhaust sounds different, especially duals and singles. Performance wise it will depend on what you are trying to accomplish.

What is the real thing? For N/A just get whatever you thinks looks/sounds best, then see if it fits your budget. All will net similiar gains...

custom would be getting 2 http://www.raceinspired.com/ps-6933-...0mm-shell.aspx and going to mufflers for less and have them weld it on straight pipes coming from the headers or getting this https://my350z.com/forum/exhaust/366483-fs-greddy-evo2.html

Name brand exhausts have proven reliability, fit and performance. Want to make your own out of eBay pieces? Go for it.
