Default Question About the Injen Dual Intake

I was wondering about if there was a problem when you wash your car you might damage the intake by getting it wet. Since the intake is right behind the front bumper. I have read many posts about this intake but couldn't find an answer to this. might be a stupid question, i was just curious. Thanks for the help.

not a stupid question, just one that is asked over and over again. no, you will not do anything harmful to your car washing it with these filters. neither will driving in the rain do anything at all.

There is a hydroshield for that intake. A guy from Injen gave me the reference, but I don't know where to buy.

The good reference is:

The part number you would need for the 350Z twin intake system filters Hydroshield is X-1035

and what it looks like:

Heard about these but thought it might restrict air flow and performance?
