Default Deepest Sound?

I'm not really the DIY guy. Just curious as to what You guys think would get me the deepest sound out of my 03. I have about $2000 saved. In your opinion what do you think the best parts would be for me to order. (exhaust/intake/header/y pipe/HFC) and what makes?

All you're going to get from this thread is everyone telling you they have. Hit up youtube and listen to some for yourself and make a decision based on that, or even better find out some local meets to attend and listen to people's cars and see what sounds best to you.

not IMO. I have performance and audio... and if I had to choose one over the other, i'd take the performance.

He didn't ask for "the best" or "the biggest gains"

He said."Just curious as to what You guys think would get me the deepest sound out of my 03"

I understand what you're saying. However, almost any exhaust will provide gains, and if he gets hfc's and some headers, he will get some big gains. So back to what I said- performance > audio.

Go to a 350Z meet. Find a Z with a exhaust note that you like. Duplicate it.

Ok, Listen carefully.First of all, everyone is going to give you their opinion and as was stated earlier, whatever their wearing is the best and deepest because they want to feel like they made the best decision. We'll they did, for their Z. As an "op", and i always feel as if people use your inexperience against you, when it comes to a new automobile,Little do they know that you probably belonged to a forum which represented your last ride and your pretty well versed in what to take seriously and what to identify as merely unhelpful, I can tell you, do your research. None of the clips you will hear are adequate representation of the final result. Most of the clips are recorded on hand held cameras that do not capture the true essence of the systems in place. In my opinion the majority of the systems I heard on youtube sounded ok, to say the least. I for one thought the Magnaflow, which I installed, sounded best in some clips and awful in others. Same goes for Stillen, Borla,Injen, and Tanabe to name a few. My deciding factor was not dollars but instinct and listening hard, taking into account the dynamics of the audio clip provided and the understanding also that most people rev their engines so high while standing still that the system can't help but sound "ricey" and the recording device can't help but clip. ( sorry if I offend anyone with that terminology). In short I can help you by stating, through experience, that my system the Magnaflow Catback with AEM/CAI sounds American, much like a Mustang. It has the distinct note of an American Muscle Car. Baritone through most of it power band and a deep growl in high rev take offs, settling into a low baritone hum during a cruise. At idle it is very much like a stock system. I hope that help clarify my system. Good luck. I am sure you will make a good choice and remember it's a 6 cyl, it will sound great no matter what you put on it.

lol, yeah, that's prob the loudest you are going to get

You should get an outside speaker, and play exhaust notes when you rev, lol

Sounds is so subjective, and you need to hear them in person to really figure them out for yourself.

If I didn't get my Nismo setup I would definitely gotten the 2.5" true dual long cat exhaust with high-flow long cats.

Test Pipes won't pass emissions here in NY. It's hard to tell True sound when listening to a recording. I guess I'm lookin for the best bang for buck set up. Thanks for all your input it's greatly appreciated guys.
