Out of nowhere, I received a PM in my inbox here on my350z. It was from Tony at Motordyne. In the email, he mentioned that he saw in a random thread that I posted that I was looking to get a APS tallboy plenum, because I was not 100% pleased with my spacer. Keep in mind, I did not even mention which spacer I was having issues with, and what the issues were. I was merely stating that I would have interest in an APS tallboy at some point (I'm TT). Tony asked me in the PM what my issue was, and who was the manufacturer of the spacer. I informed him that it was, in fact, a motordyne spacer. My issue was with the hardware....the screws had rusted very quickly, and they discolored the plenum, just a real bad eyesore, and it grows tiring to keep cleaning it. I had no issue with the function of the spacer, just the appearance that bothered me. The next PM I received from Tony was a request for my address and information, as he was going to send me a new set of hardware. He even stated "I will send yu the hardware regardless of if you will continue to use the spacer or not, at least this way you will have a full, proper set of hardware if you choose to sell the spacer"
That is AMAZING. The guy sought me out to see if it was his spacer that was giving me issues, and then he took care of the issues. I never contacted him, never complained to him, never mentioned the issues or the product name. Amazing.
Thank you Tony!

Tony did the same for me a while ago, I had lost the spacers for the strut tower bar and he saw my post about running with a high pre-load to give it clearance to the plenum and PM'd me to send them, insisting on it.
Great guy!
Great guy!
Tony is the man!! He really stands behind his quality products 100%. Tony helped me out when I first bought my MREV and spacer. I didnt even buy it from him and yet he still took care of me. If he made products for my 240 I'd buy anything from him.
Tony is a vendor and guy no doubt about that, although I've never bought from him (but he's helped me answer a few questions). You can really judge a person from the posts he makes.
That really is impressive! I read the original test threads on here when Tony was just getting the Motordyne parts engineered and tested, he went to great lengths then to help the VQ community and I can see that hasn't stopped (even when it doesn't directly correlate to dollars in his pocket).
I'm still on the lookout for an MD spacer...one of these days I'll get around to buying and installing one.
