Yeah, if someone buys these things they are nuts. That is just way too much money for the "Nismo" tag.

There's way better stuff than nismo out there... Look around.
Unless the nismo theme is what you are looking for

If you want to stay legal, get the Crawford or Random cats. The Crawfords are the cheapest and the ones I would get.

OK OK! well disregard price. does anyone know any perfomance figures on them? or anything to be comparing them to any other company. I may be off base, but usually these close related companies like Nismo and mugen and AC Schnitzer work closely with the manafacturer to develope products. I assume there is a reason for everything.

I've given up on any hope for the Nismo one's to be imported, so we bought into a distributorship with Random Technology. If I can EVER get my car we'll do step by step dynos with cat back, headers then cat's.

Hey guys, I was wondering, how do these cats bolt up to a larger diameter pipe, say a 3" exhaust diameter pipe??? Been wondering that for a while.

Crawford high flow cats or Random technology cats? That is the question. Is Random tech cats worth the extra money? One thing I can say is that Random cats look better but are they the best?

Neither cats bolt up to a 3" diameter pipe. Both are like 2 1/4" to 2 1/2".

Here is a dyno on the Random cats: http://www.350zfrenzy.com/forum/show...6208#post16208

Crawford doesn't have dynos posted yet, but they said like 3-5 HP (you can trust that figure).
