Yeah that's what I was asking. I know nobody can answer that besides the seller but does it matter that it's not installed?

The plenum will run about 30-60 degrees cooler with it.
Do you know if the coolant control valve was installed?

It would be a small valve located underneath the air tube.

I'll take a look tomorrow. I saw what you're talking about in the instructions but I did not see the valve in the "box of parts" i was given so I assume it was installed.

Ok so I was looking through everything he gave me and it looks like the only thing he installed from the kit was the spacer. Everything else is bagged up and unused, including the control valve.
