I'm curious to see how it plays out as well. I hardly ever drive the car so hopefully it pans out. The car is an 04.5 and has only 20K miles.

We are an amuse dealer, and yes this will fit the HR motor.

This Y-pipe won't fit the HR motor.

So the Y-Pipe won't fit... but the actual Exhaust System will then...

...so, does it do anything? I'm not a nuteswinger badge *****, so I'd like to hear impressions when you install it.

At a minimum, I bet there's a huge weight reduction!

IMHO, this is the best sounding exhaust on the VQ's. I could have purchased an ARC exhaust since i'm an ARC *****, but it tells you something if I went for the amuse. Although, I may try out the single ARC exhaust when I head to Japan in a few months to try something different.

Impressions so far, the setup with the Amuse y-pipe versus my old setup JIC Y-pipe and Amuse exhaust is that the full amuse setup is definitely louder. Unfortunately, I have to put some bigger washers on the GT Spec ladder brace in order for it to clear the driver side part of the Amuse Y-pipe. Once that is done, I will post a sound clip.

Correct. The amuse y-pipe is a featherweight when compared to the JIC

I think I have the same one on my Skyline/G37. This exhaust is the bomb. Looks, sound, and a little bit of extra horses out of the VQ engine.
