Default Custom Intake?

Has anyone done a custom intake on there 350z and if you have how did you do it?

wrong section but why would you want to go custom if there are plenty premade ones? is there a certain design you want that isn't produced?

damn what a harsh crowd..no wonder my350z get no love from other forums..

I've posted in the wrong section before as well. Usually, if you do it once you'll never do it again!

However, the other questions are really good ones. If you have read through the different threads on intakes, you'll see that there aren't a lot of gains to be made with intake alone. There are a number of intakes that have been designed for the Z by some pretty strong players. Unless someone is a automotive engineer, I doubt they could come up with anything better than whats out there, and if you have '03 to '06, you would be hard pressed to find an intake that performs better than the '06 stock.
