I was wondering if anyone on here has the nismo exhaust with HFCs or TPs...i'm thinking about getting one or the other, but i'm worried about the rasp and it being a little TOO loud (i dont mind, but im sure cops here in california will mind). Also, i remember reading something about HFCs cracking with the nismo y-pipe? I really like the tone of the nismo exhaust and would like to keep this exhaust. If anyone has the nismo exhaust and HFCs or TPs and has some info they can give (pros/cons), it would be appreciated...thanks.

Concerned about rasp? Leave the exhaust alone.

 

I have the nismo with TPs.. ( resonated TPs.. that cracked ).. now I have Ti-tek TPs ( non resonated ).. that I think cracked too!.. because iam getting a weird noise when slowing down and at 2000 rpm ( the noise was never there b4, just started happening 1 week ago ).. Im gonna bring it to get it checked and order a new Y-pipe. I would suggest getting a y-pipe in top of that.. it'll be better in the long run

thats bc the design of Nismo is horrible. When i had it it broke 2 sets. Sounded good though i loved the rasp with Nismo and tps. Switched exhaust and went with Helix due to DavidVs advice
