Borla not a *true* dual exhaust!?
I was in on the group buy from LaBree when the Dual was released. As I recall there were about 30 or 40 of us who got it.
Several of them dyno'd their car afterwards and the gains were nowhere near 23hp.... highest that was ever claimed was bout 12hp as I recall.
plus.... you don't need a dyno to feel 23 hp gains. I didn't dyno but I did use my G-Tech Competition Pro and it shows gains of about 8-10hp over my baseline data.... on the G-Tech that's within the margin of error so it could be said the gains are minimal.

Wow! I'm reading all this and thinking you guys must be really bored. I don't use the "true dual exhaust" thing because I think it sounds a bit strange. Borla dual exhaust sounds good to me. I love the system. It sounds and looks great. There are numerous tests on it out there and it seems for the most part to make horses, so that is good enough for me. I think we will realize the biggest benifit as we add more mods.
True dual, it is not; as the pipes inter connect, an 'H' pipe.....and possibly in the muffler itself.
Any one check their Borla joints for leaks? Mine had visible signs at the joints; and one other Zee I saw when my pro-charger was being installed.
