i love single exhaust. When MD first started posting pics it looked like the harikiri was gonna be similar to the aam in reguards to having a canister look to it on the single. Didnt come out how i thought it would, I wanna buy a hollow canister and fab it up on the shockwave so it doesnt look like trumpet lol that would be my ultimate exhaust, the shockwave but still looks decent. I love the sound though.

You were the first to have the single shockwave OP? I thought there was a white Z on here that had it. They have been making it for awhile from what I remember. Sounds loud as ****! MD does make a new dual version of the shockwave with ti tips. And everything is interchangeable if you wanted to switch it up.

What Jay (2004Black350Z) has on his Z is not the ShockWave))) you are familiar with. What he has is much, much more devastating on the db scale.

He has the same mufflerless axleback section with the diffuser. But what is different here is that the midpipe has no resonator. Jay is using this with his AAM Y-Pipe and un-resonated test pipes.

So he has absolutely no mufflers, no resonators nor any kind of sound attenuation at all... Zero.

What you hear is 100% undamped sound straight out of the engine.

Zwole,

I am the same: I like the XYZ pipe with a straight single. the vibrant is straight through and under 200 for the can if that is the sort of thing you want, check it out as an option to go along with the Motordyne parts.

Straight pipe exhaust from the exhaust valves to the tip.

That's 200 proof VQ sound right there.

It is cool and all with the race car sound but your AAM setup was nice and not over aggressive. That Motordyne setup has to be hard to deal with if you daily your Z. Test pipes and exhaust are hard enough.. yikes. Sounds good though!

Yes, the Titanium tips are an option too. (Same price as the diffuser.)

i will post flybys when it stops raining. NC is getting rain 4 next 5 days sp . Anyways yea it sounds umm idk how to explain it. Closest thing i could compare it to was zdayz there was a guy TT running 3.5 Downpipes with 3" Straight exhaust and it was fcking brutal. Mine sounds like that but without the turbo noise.......and power lol. And no im not the 1st for MD shockwave just 1st with the new Straight pipe shockwave.

That sounds just like my 4 cylinder Deere when I'm pulling stumps, honestly. NASCAR? Don't be ridiculous. I guess you don't plan on listening to the radio or talking on the cell or having a conversation with your passenger?
