Default Random Test pipe question

I was thinking, since the stock exhaust tone is fairly deep yet subtle, would it be possible to swap the stock cats out and put test pipes on? Wouldn't that make the stock exhaust louder while still retaining the good exhaust tone??? Or is that not possible. Just a random idea and wanted to ask :]

Yes you can put test pipes on the car. Why would you NOT be able to?

I have it done, car is louder. but raspy between 2-3k which is normal driving. Wot is louder and raspier. Above 4k is pretty nice. Butt dyno likes the gains up top. Im gettin a catback as soon as possible tho, gettin sick of the rasp.

I just recently did this and I love it. The sound is like stock but just louder. I really don't get rasp and in the video I did get my first pop back....it almost never does it. Just make sure you get resonated pipes and you'll love the sound. Not one person so far has said it sounds bad and I love it. It sounds the best between 3-4K rpms and the gain is noticeable for sure. It sometimes smells like fuel a bit more but who cares.

I might catch **** for this but check my thread out here. I have the video on the second page.
