Default Help with Greddy Ti-C cat

I just bought a 2003 Z. It came with the Greddy Ti-C exhaust with cat. I was wondering is there any way to remove the cat?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, i'm not too good with cars

I doubt it came with a catalytic converter. Maybe you're confusing the bump in the exhaust as a cat. That is a resonator, which quiets down the exhaust. Post up a picture of what you think the 'cat' is.

Doubtful it's a cat. Cats are before the Y pipe. It's probably a resonator.

Dunno, the owner told me he it has a cat on because he didn't want tickets. I'll take a look. Many thanks for the help, and I just realized I posted this in the wrong section so sorry

Welcome. What is a "cat?"
