I'm sure that there are a few threads that discuss this but I can't find them. If anyone can help me, I'd sooooo appreciate it. I have a short ram air intake. I was thinking to modify my old, stock air box in order to place it around my new unit. I figure that it will keep the hot air from my engine bay and cooler, outside air separate. I'm basically going to cut the old unit in half and build it around the intake cone and reattach with some custom quick release clips. Don't worry, it will look professional and not Ghetto hick rigged. Any ideas, suggestions, or thread links would be great. Thanks!

BTW ... I am fairly new on here so if I've said something dumb, please go easy on me.

 

Members have tried every conceivable mod with the intake box (including 3 feet of clothes dryer exhaust duct).
