I mean lets compare the description you have listed vs an Ebay HKS copy...
The only differences between both descriptions is the xpipe and price.Oh and yours has "Grip" stamped on the resonator. I mean if I can see something clear that shows this is a unique system besides a copy with x pipe...I will gladly stfu. Ehhh I guess ill stfu anyways cause I have no interest in buying this exhaust anyways.

idk maybe I'm missing it
no your comments are necessary to make sure the community knows its difference. The last part about our design, is the interior design of the system, which overall creates a very different sound than the HKS and other alike.

The thickness of our pipes are one of the reason drone is reduced to almost nothing. The tone is from our resonators and xflow pipe. Even our resonators designed specifically for this reason. Other brands are hollow which cause droning.

Lastly, the infamous raspiness from other brands. Ours do not have this whatsoever. This may be cause from the tips, thin pipes, or the use of lower quality metals.

Take our ARK 350z GRiP challenge, I am willing to come out to local meets to show and hear the difference.

Dyno video of the ARK true dual exhuast on my 350z:

This is with Intense Power's 2.5 inch resonated test pipes.

<embed width="600" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullscreen="true" allowNetworking="all" wmode="transparent" src="http://static.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vidmg.photobucket.com/albums/v471/tomatohatch/VID_00008-20091116-1726.flv">

Keep in mind this is pulled off my blackberry, it was a LOT louder in person, but the tone is there. i love it.

exhaust sounds nice, wouldn't mind seeing a higher quality video however.

how did you like intense powers test pipes before your grip was installed?

i had them both put on the same day, so i never felt the difference without the other.

The intense pipes are a great quality piece for the price, came with all the hardware, o2 bungs, clean welds. in person, the setup sounds sick. Just need the tips to finish it off.

The HKS is a lot more highpitched (buddy of mine had the hks on his z), the ARK is a deeper, warmer tone. if that makes any sense.

I constantly see people saying this exhaust isn't a good sound but I just don't see how. So far from the video's I've seen I think I'm going to get this one for my 08. I like the minimal noise it produces from the in the mid to low rpms. Now the only thing I don't like is how people compare exhausts with video's shot with peoples Digital picture camera's, those camera's aren't meant for video and too many people base the decisions on a camera not built for video or audio.

I'd much rather see a video camera and maybe an high end mic recording to do full justice.

I'll probably buy this exhaust, love the sound and seems like there is a good continuing response on the forums here.

We have a Nikon D90 with HD video capabilities, would that be better than the videos out right now? either way, I will post them up before christmas.

it wasn't a bash at you, more towards the rest of the world. I'd rather use a HD camera or just regular camera then use a real audio mic hooked to a computer. Something that can really record the full range of audio the exhaust sounds like.

Is this available as individual pieces, or does it have to be purchased as a complete system?

We do not sell part individually. We keep separate parts for ARK customers only. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Does anyone with the first version have issues with rattling/vibration near the passenger side swaybar while accelerating between 1500-2000 RPM?

Is that what the redesign passenger side muffler system from all angles on V2 is referring too? in addtion to the rear gap issue?

What is the difference between the versions? I bought mine back in April 09 - which version do I have, and is there something that needs to be replaced?
