Default Injen SES Exhaust VS. HKS Knock Off...PLEASE HELP

Hello,

I currently have the HKS Knockoff (XO2) and found a Injen locally for 400$...I dont know if i should do it, but i do know I am not happy with the XO2...Any input on the Injen SES Exhaust?

I care about 3 things...

Looks, (I think the SES looks sick! My xo2's tips are pathetic.)
Sound, (I hate drone, so if the SES has bad drone compared to the HKS let me know!) Also I dont like it extremely loud.
and...Quality, (My xo2 was ok, but lets face it, it kind of sucked lol)

BTW I have searched for info about the Injen exhaust, and didnt come up with alot, sorry if i missed it...THANKS

I have the Injen SES 1985 staight tips and here are my thoughts...

Drone at low RPM's below 2500. (Crappy silencer design)

true dual but no H or X pipe. (torque loss low at low RPM's)

Fairly light, saved 12 lbs over stock.

Looks similar to the X02, but Injen will be better quality. (esp. the tips)

Sound quality, def changes the disnict VQ sound. Sounds more like an M3.
Without a H or X pipe sometimes the sound is like two 3 cyl. instead of a V6.

Fitment quality, often users of this system will have constant problems with the pass. side tip not lining up. Mine is a little off but only if you look REALLY close. see pic

All told I really like my injen system. It is not the best exhaust out there but it shows solid gains and for that price you can't go wrong.

If you have test pipes your going to have awful drone. I had the injen true dual ti version with the welded in x pipe and test pipes and the drone was really unbearable.

What is the xpipe supposed to do? Is it simply for some more hp gains?

Reduces any potential rasp from test pipes, increased low end tq, restores vq tone.
