Default Help ! Trying to mod to reach 300whp

Ok, I have a 07 350z with Bassani exhaust and getting test pipes soon. Any diff in tp for power? And then air intake, what would u say is the best for power? Also getting Cobb protune. What whp and hp u think I'll be at this time? And what else should I do to get to 300whp+

thanks!

with the Bassani and TP's you're already at 300whp. If you wanna go nuts and get to 400 buy a NOS tank and fill it with Hydrogen, it is so much better than NOS and its much safer for your car. If you do decide to go with the Hydrogen make sure you get 2 throttle body spacers.

oh one more thing, get plenty of stickers! people think stickers are just for show but theyre really for aerodynamics

i heard throttle body spacers show gains of 20whp and HRs do great with plenum spacers. Man i cant believe u didnt search bc then u would see all these things im posting. U shouldv kept ur stock cats bc they show more gains then tp.

The tuning place here , hp logic told me the car is 230whp stock. Anyone else can confirm 300whp with Bassani exhaust and tp?

op would it make a difference if you had 295whp vs 300whp? would you go another 3k for cams if you had to get that extra 5whp to reach 300whp?

The early DEs dyno ~235rwhp stock. With bolt-ons, they typically get up to ~250-260rwhp.

Your HR should be closer to 270rwhp stock. With bolt-ons, they can make around 300rwhp.

Here is a local one from stock to bolt-ons:

no u need to keep ur stock cats for backpressure. Dont let no one tell u that 3" exhaust esp with tps show HP bc there morons.

The Bassani exhaust has two propellers in the muffler which act like turbos. When he is driving, the muffler starts building up boost. Once he floors it, the boost kicks in. There is only a half second lag. With stock cats, its going to take a long time for the muffler to build up boost. If anything needs needs 4" test pipes

^^ Funny thing is he thinks you're all serious....

Also fill your car with bags of sand and weights for traction to get all that 300whp transfered to the wheels!

if you wanna reach 300 and beyond i would have to tell you to pour about half a pound of sand per minute into your intake while keeping your RPMs at roughly 5k, do that for a good 5 minutes, there you go you ported your intake
