Default another happy hks ebay knockoff owner--fx35!!

1st off i gambled when i bought a dual exhaust from ebay for 344 shipped!!

i know it isnt a 350z but they use some similiar parts.

fx35

it took a little more work than it should have. the pipes were hitting the differential cover( one of the empty notches), pipe had to be bent a little.

I did not extend the tips. They are about 2-3 inches too short.

The sound is awesome. low & deep. sounds very aggressive, not raspy or high pitched at all. i will get video up monday or sooner. took longer than i though, now i am busy. wedding/reception/ufc saturday, busy day sunday as well.

it is definately noticeable when you fire it up. people will notice you have a exhaust. may be a tad loud for some of you, but i love it!

may extend tips one day. it doesnt look quite right from the side

pictures loading now, too impatient to wait

i bought the X02 and im happy w/ results. it is also a hks knock off. granted it tends to change color on tips but i use chrome polisher and rust remover and i keep it clean. i bolted my on but still needed some welding done. its a replica for a reason, and you get what you paid for. machida is gonna win btw, just in case you didnt know that...

not knocking you or anything but i never understood why people put louder exhaust on a vehicle that has no purpose as a performer. Mainly speaking of people that put fart cans on luxury cars plus being an automatic just sound terrible... Good purchase though x02 sounds really good

its cool if you knock me-which you say you aren't-but it reads as though you are.

my reasoning-
1 i love a great sounding exhuast
2 i needed a suv-350z isnt practical for me-so why not make it sound good
3 the fx is on the same platform as 350 and g35
4 i would say it is built for some performance--check infinitiscene.com-they use the same jwt tt that you guys use!
5 i personally think it sounds fine on the auto--i have heard many exhausts that sound like crap on all kinds of vehicles--i just wanted a great deep exhaust--so i got it

oh-i also am already looking for some longer non burnt tips, but thanks for the heads up, my muffler guy said it isnt close enough to melt it right now?? we will see.

soon i would like to get a 2nd toy car(350 z roadster), but i started a business and i need a vehicle that has more capacity than a 350-that is why i put a exhaust on a suv-i think it would be too loud for a suc with additional test pipes but it isnt overly loud-my wife even loves it

yeah i used the extensinons, but that just pushes mufflers towards back- i cant push mufflers any closer to bumper --our bumper doesnt tuck, too much length of black plastic to tuck up-it crossed my mind

looking at some chrome tips for diesel. you can get rolled chrome ones in 4" or even 5" inlet for around $40

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/tips.htm

if i re used the stock tips the pipes would not have matched up in color and would look messed up from the side. im thinking about putting the new longer tips over these existing ones--that way it all looks chrome
